At Atlas Immersion Academy, our community is what makes us special. Throughout the year, we host events for a wide variety of cultural holidays, celebrations and more! Our community thrives on diversity, represented by our multilingual, multinational staff and families. Alongside traditional celebrations, we also organize tailored events such as parent information evenings, baby story time, and summer camps. We welcome both Atlas families and the broader community to join us in these enriching experiences.

Diwali is also known as the ‘festival of lights” and symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
For many, this five-day festival honors Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. Oil lamps called diyas
are lit and windows and doors are left open to help Lakshmi find her way into people's homes.

Dia de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead, is a remembrance and celebration of those who have passed away. According to Mexican culture, on this night the dead cross over from the underworld to visit their living relatives. Relatives of the departed might gather to pray around the ofrenda (offering), read satirical poems, and share joyful anecdotes of their loved ones.
Dia de los Muertos is a colorful and joyful celebration and opportunity to remember and reunite with loved ones who have passed.
For children birth through 5 years old and their families, Atlas is hosting our very own Dia de los Muertos celebration.
