What We Believe
At Atlas Immersion Academy, we not only nurture the development of the children, but also foster a growth mindset among our teachers and staff! Our team receives ongoing, annual education and training, surpassing Oregon’s state standards for early childhood educators.
We also partner with parents to create a positive and supportive environment. Frequent parent-center communication is facilitated by a messaging app that keeps parents up-to-date on their child’s day and allows them to receive photos and videos throughout the day. Our open door policy means that parents are always welcome to come into the center or set up a time to talk to the teacher or Director when they have questions or feel the need to talk. Parent-volunteers share their culture and traditions with young learners, widening the understanding of the world and global cultures for all the children in our care.
We believe that by combining the highest quality training for our teaching team and inviting parents to be involved throughout their child’s time at Atlas Immersion Academy, we are able to work as a “village” to raise open-minded, eager learners!
About Our Silicon Forest Location
Situated in Hillsboro, our school is conveniently located by NE Walker Rd & off Highway 26 and is easy to access via major roads and public transport, making it convenient for parents to access during their commute between work and home.
Since our start in Gabriel Park in 2011, we have worked incredibly hard to create the best possible language immersion child development centers in Portland. We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our teachers either hold a degree in Early Childhood Education or are "in progress" earning their Atlas-sponsored Child Development Associate degree.
